Hello~Ignorance/Arguments

Hello! I have been absent for a while if you haven't already noticed.  Anyways, I apologize, for the lack of activity. Basically, it takes a while for me to upload stuff on here via mobile device, so that's why it doesn't happen, whereas with Instagram it's under a minute. I apologize once again, and I'll move on with what this journal really is about.

So I just have to step up an voice my opinion on ignorance. What is ignorance? Well in my definition it means to totally ignore anything that you don't agree with, and not even CONSIDER it.
I hate ignorance. I HATE IT, I LOATH IT, I DON'T WANT TO BE AROUND IT, but sadly I am, every day, of the week. My best friend is....ignorant, and I find that a lot of my family is ignorant, and a lot of that is because they're religious. I'm sorry if this offends (goodness knows how) but I find that usually people who are religious are ignorant, now I know that is not always the case, so don't take this as all religious people are ignorant pigheads, but basically I am surrounded by these religious ignorant people, which I like to call a very special kind of stupid. (Once again if you are offended by this-wait why are you even reading this?) anyways, as I said and would like to clarify again, I KNOW THAT NOT ALL RELIGIOUS PEOPLE ARE THIS WAY. Okay? Just getting it out there because there are just some people who are looking to be offended. (And also that very special kind of stupid people)
Ignorance annoys me to now end, and has pretty much driven me away from my best friend. Mainly because she is so caught up in the idea that the bible is right and that god is so perfect, that she doesn't even consider my opinion. I'll say something like this, "I believe all people come from Africa" and she'll reply with
"How can you even believe that?! That idea is so outrageous!" You know what, before I go and punch a wall, I'd like to point out what is wrong with this statement. (I apologize in advance for any offensive language) my main question is, HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU BELIEVE A MAGICAL FAIRY IN THE SKY THAT SO CALLED CREATED MANKIND?! I'm sorry, but the idea just astounds me, but all in all, I may sound very...like her right now, I'd also like to point out that I'm not entirely against the fact that there may in fact be a magical fairy in the sky, but I do not have enough evidence to prove so, besides this "bible" or "fairy tale story". Basically any one can write something and say its true, and that makes me really sad, and basically this kind of religious stuff takes ignorance to a whole new level. I've basically decided to give up on even refuting ignorance and just decided to smile and nod. (Not only religious stuff but politics as well) because honestly, when arguing with an ignorant person, your only going to end up killing each other.

One last note, I try not to be ignorant, I always always always respect the other side's opinion in an argument, and I see that they grew up learning this, and I grew up learning this, neither one of us can be completely right unless we both die and find out the truth. So basically my rant ends here, have a good night.
